5. Earl

The sky in Big D didn’t crumble last week. It was a hot, sunny day in Dallas. The Cowboys won. And nobody remembered the name Earl Thomas. Despite giving the Giants 470 total yards, the defense remained strong against a steady Eli Manning and his running back, Saquon Barkley.

6. Seven

The Cowboys had seven different players who caught a pass last Sunday. Five out of those seven players caught three or more passes. Four different receivers caught a touchdown pass. Michael Gallup and Amari Cooper, the top two starting receivers, combined for 13 catches and 264 receiving yards.

Dear Washington, pick your poison.

Trending. Dak Prescott’s debut in Kellen Moore’s offense a resounding success. light

7. Prediction

You know what, I’m a little upset I was off just point in my prediction last week. I’m greedy, what can I say?

Look, the Washington Redskins have their hands full this coming Sunday. They have two things going for them. One, the game is held at their house. And the other, it’s going to be sunny with temps around 88 degrees.

At least when they lose, 27-17, they’ll be able to enjoy the rest of the weekend.
