The Dallas Cowboys will open their regular season at home against an old NFC East foe, the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium.

The Dallas Cowboys will kick off the NFL’s 100th season at home in a battle with an old divisional rival, the New York Giants. The game will start on Sunday, September 8th at 3:25 p.m. CT. And there are several intriguing storylines to follow in this regular-season opener.

All eyes will be on running back Ezekiel Elliott, who ended his holdout earlier this week that forced him to miss all of training camp and the preseason. Elliott signed a six-year, $90 million contract extension on Wednesday and will make his 2019 debut against the Giants.

Beyond Elliott, it will also be the regular-season debut for new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. This will be the first time that Moore’s new offensive wrinkles will be revealed, which is rumored to include a lot of pre-snap motion and deception. The sudden presence of Elliott and the revelation of the new offense in Dallas makes this game one of the more exciting openers for fans in recent memory.
