Halfway done with the preseason, the Dallas Cowboys escape Hawaii without major injury and a win. Here is the good, bad and ugly from Week 2 vs. the Rams.

Two preseason games are done and over with for the Dallas Cowboys, winning one and losing one. Of course, wins and losses do not matter as much as health and improvement. For the second straight week, the Cowboys came out relatively unscathed from an injury standpoint.

Obviously, posting a 14-10 win after taking a loss could be considered an improvement as well. So, as Dallas heads back home to Texas to finish out training camp, let’s take a look at the Good, Bad and Ugly from a Week 2 preseason victory.

GOOD – The “starting” defensive line

Defensive tackles Maliek Collins and Antwaun Woods should be Week 1 starters. Ends Dorance Armstrong, Taco Charlton and Kerry Hyder likely won’t but all of them shined in Hawaii.

All five spent plenty of time in the Los Angeles Rams backfield with Collins absolutely balling.

The Cowboys will rely on relentless waves of guys coming at the opposing quarterback week after week. With so many guys performing well in this second game, defensive line coach Rod Marinelli has a lot to be happy about.
