The Dallas Cowboys have conducted seven practices during training camp. Based on reporting, here are three main reasons to be excited.

The Dallas Cowboys are seven practices into their 2019 training camp and there have been some encouraging reports coming out of Oxnard, CA. So far, the assembled media have given both the offense and defense high marks.

Coming out of last season, Cowboys fans had several reasons to be enthusiastic about the upcoming season.

The young defense was surprisingly consistent, until the Los Angeles Rams game, the quarterback Dak Prescott led offense was still trending in the right direction, and there was plenty of evidence to believe the core group would be reassembled for another run.

Outside of the drama surrounding running back Ezekiel Elliott, the offseason has been relative quiet and there are no significant injury concerns. This is a contract year for head coach Jason Garrett, so that should bring a higher level of concentration and attention to detail by the coaching staff.

Like most fans, I’m glued to the internet feeds showing glimpses of the Cowboys practice videos and I consistently read everything posted by Dallas guru, Bryan Broaddus . For the sake of time, let’s look at three distinct reasons to be excited based on reporting from training camp.
