The Dallas Cowboys have tons of talent all over the field. Each unit on both sides of the ball has a star player at the position. What unit is the best?

The Dallas Cowboys on the offensive and defensive side of the ball have star players at each position. What is most impressive is that almost every position has a reliable backup or sidekick to help.

For example, star wide receiver Amari Cooper has the help of Michael Gallup and now the assistance of Randall Cobb. The defensive backs are led by cornerback Byron Jones but Chido Awuzie helps solidify the Dallas secondary.

With that being said, what unit is the best? Many spectators might point at the defensive line. A star-studded group led by the best pass rusher in the game DeMarcus Lawrence.

The Hot Boyz made themselves known around the NFL last with their stellar play not only by Lawrence but the emergence of unlikely stars such as Randy Gregory and Antwaun Woods.

The D-line will only get better next year with the help of former pro bowl defensive end Robert Quinn and 2nd round draft pick Trysten Hill.

Another very deep unit is the offensive line. Led by All-Pro’s Zack Martin and Tyron Smith, the Cowboys O-line has been recognized around the league as one of the strongest offensive lines in the NFL.

The offensive line will gladly welcome back center Travis Fredrick next year, who missed the 2018 season with a rare disease. The addition of Fredrick should bring the offensive line back into 2016 form.

My pick for the best unit on the Cowboys team goes to the linebacking corp. The bash brothers of Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith will build on the incredible success they had last year together.

The speed and power possessed by each of these young stars are unmatched by other linebacking units around the league, making them the best linebacking duo in the NFL.

Not to mention, there is another linebacker on the team you have might have heard of. Sean Lee brings experience and knowledge to the field to cap off the linebacking unit. Although Sean Lee is a shade of what he once was, he is still very valuable to the linebacker room and the Dallas Cowboys as a whole.
