The Dallas Cowboys have quite a few questions to answer entering the season. There are five though, that are bigger than others.

The Dallas Cowboys are finally heading into a season with more answers than questions. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t any questions about this team though.

Here are five of the most important questions that they need to answer in order to be the best possible versions of themselves.

1. Can Dak Prescott take the next step as a passer?

Although Dak Prescott isn’t a bad passer of the ball by any means, completing almost 68 percent of his passes on last season, there is another step he could stand to take in his evolution. To the naked eye, it appears that he could be better when it comes to a few things. Although he excels in the short passing game, especially on the move, he is just good in the intermediate category.

When it comes to his deep ball though, he could stand to be a little more accurate. In correlation with his deep ball accuracy, he could also stand to polish up when it comes to leading his receiver or hitting them in stride. That goes for all three levels of the passing game, not just the long ball.

2. Can Travis Frederick regain his form?

Travis Frederick was a four-time Pro Bowler and a one-time all-pro before missing last season with Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Although he is reportedly on track to come back this season, he is also now reportedly trying to overcome a shoulder surgery as well as his disorder.

If the Dallas Cowboys want to be as dominant as they have the potential to be, Frederick will need to be healthy. This is not only huge for the protection of Dak Prescott, but especially important when it comes to opening up running lanes for arguably the best running back in the league.
