1. Anthony Brown, Cornerback

The nickel corner in a defense tends to not be considered a starter, but in today’s offense based around the passing game, Brown is basically a starter.

More often than not, Brown tackles consistently and can handle most slot receivers. Brown is more than just a cover guy, as he also recorded two quarterback sacks from the slot. Heading into the 2019 season, expect Richard to gameplan more blitzes from Brown.

Brown will never get the same spotlight as his fellow classmates like Elliott or quarterback Dak Prescott (all three were drafted in 2016), but Brown’s presence attributed to a dominating defensive performance in 2018.

Going into the last year of his contract, Brown should be more motivated than ever so he can go somewhere and make triple the money he currently receives. Barring an extremely team friendly deal, 2019 will most likely be Brown’s last year with Dallas.

But thinking about this upcoming year, Brown should be a guy to keep your eye on.

The Dallas Cowboys have put together a team that can compete for a championship (if coaching allows). However, a Super Bowl will only be achieved if these players listed continue their development.
