The Dallas Cowboys’ DeMarcus Lawrence and Robert Quinn have the potential to be one of the most dangerous defensive end duos in the NFL next season.

The Dallas Cowboys recently signed the leader of their defense to a long term contract. Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence agreed to terms with the Cowboys on a five-year, $105 million deal in recent weeks, bolstering their defense for years to come.

Lawrence was drafted 34th overall by the Cowboys in the 2014 NFL Draft. Although he had a slow start to his career, racking up only nine sacks and three forced fumbles total in his first three seasons, Lawrence has improved drastically since. In the past two seasons combined, he has produced 24.5 sacks and six forced fumbles, earning him Pro Bowl appearances in both seasons.

To compliment Lawrence, Dallas traded for former Miami Dolphins defensive end Robert Quinn. The former 14th overall pick has been one of the best pass rushers in the league since he became a pro. In his eight-year career, Quinn boasts 200 solo tackles, 69.0 sacks, and 23 forced fumbles. These impressive stats have earned him two Pro Bowl appearances and one All-Pro honor.

These two dominant defensive ends together combine for a career 103.0 sacks, 456 tackles, 32 forced fumbles, and 190 quarterback hits. The resume of Lawrence and Quinn together on the same defensive line is one of the most impressive among any duo in the NFL.
