After waiting to make their first selection in 2019 NFL Draft on Day Two, the Dallas Cowboys made one of two picks in the fourth round on Saturday.

The Dallas Cowboys had a slow start to the 2019 NFL Draft. They traded away their first round pick in the annual selection event last year to obtain Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper.

On Day Two of the draft on Friday, Dallas selected defensive tackle Trysten Hill and offensive guard Connor McGovern. Who will be their first pick on Day Three? We now know.

With the 128th overall selection in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select …

NAME: Tony Pollard
POSITION: RB
SCHOOL: Memphis
HT/WT: 6-0, 210
2018 Stats: 552 rushing yards, 7.1 ypc, 6 tds, 39 recs
PROS: Playmaker, special teams returner, good receiver, good YAC
CONS: Poor pass blocker, body catcher

QUICK ANALYSIS: The Dallas Cowboys were needing a new primary backup to running back Ezekiel Elliott. In Pollard they get a change-of-pace back who will bring juice to the offense and who is also a very reliable pass catcher out of the backfield. Pollard is such a good receiver, in fact, he can line up in the slot. He can also be a difference maker on special teams as a returner with six kick returns for touchdowns while at Memphis.
