Week 5: vs. Green Bay Packers

One of the more intimidating sights a Cowboys fan can see is quarterback Aaron Rodgers in AT&T stadium. The past five matchups dating back to 2014 have all been great games, and I expect this one to be too. But, the Packers offensive line is shaky, to say the least, expect the Hot Boyz to be hot and Dallas to get back to their winning ways.

Record: 4-1

Week 6: @ New York Jets

The New York Jets have been one of the worst teams in the NFL in the past decade. With young quarterback Sam Darnold and newly acquired All-Pro running Back Le’Veon Bell, this could be a changed Jets team in 2019. I expect the Jets to be better than they have been in the past, but the Cowboys are just the better team as of now.

Record: 5-1

Week 7: Vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The hated Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a roller coaster of a year in 2018. With quarterback Carson Wentz injured, then sneaking into the playoffs behind the magic of quarterback Nick Foles, no one knew what to expect from Philadelphia in 2018. In 2019, I believe they will go back to their winning ways. A battle between the top of the NFC East will take place in Week 7, but the Cowboys will drop one here to Wentz and Co.

Record: 5-2

Week 8: Bye Week

Record: 5-2

Week 9: @ New York Giants

After the bye week, the Cowboys should be fully prepared to take on the Giants. Expect a rookie quarterback to be in action for the Giants at this time of the year. The Cowboys get another W under their belt, sweeping the Giants in 2019.

Record: 6-2
