In Keith Brooking, we have another talented linebacker finding his way to Dallas after a long, successful career with the Atlanta Falcons. In fact, Brooking spent his first 11 seasons with the Dirty Birds after being a former first-round selection out of Georgia Tech in 1998.

A five-time Pro Bowler, Brooking would end up spending three seasons in Dallas. He helped to provide some valuable veteran experience along a talented linebacker corps that included Bradie James, DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer.

Brooking would place second in tackles on the team twice during his three years in Dallas. His best season coming in 2009, when he recorded 106 total tackles, seven passes defended and 3.0 sacks.

The Cowboys would finish that year with an 11-5 record and netted an NFC Wild Card playoff victory over the rival Philadelphia Eagles.
