Defensive Tackle. (2002-05). La'Roi Glover. 3. player. 123.

His NFL career didn’t have an ideal start for defensive tackle La’Roi Glover, but it was an amazing finish. Glover was a fifth-round selection by the Oakland Raiders in the 1996 NFL Draft out of San Diego State.

After a short stint in Oakland and a winning a title in the World League of American Football, resurrected his career with the New Orleans Saints.

After posting an incredible 17.0 sacks in 2000 for the Saints, leading the league in that category and earning himself Pro Bowl and All-Pro nominations, Glover joined a struggling 5-11 Cowboys’ as a free agent two seasons later.

As a member of America’s Team, Glover’s excellent play continued. The talented defensive tackle earned Pro Bowl nominations for all four seasons he spent in Dallas. His best year came in 2004, when he recorded 41 tackles and 7.0 sacks. The six-time Pro Bowler ended his 13-year career spending his final three seasons with the then-St. Louis Rams.
