Cowboys vs. Seahawks: Playoff game info, time, channel, more
The Dallas Cowboys will take on the Seattle Seahawks in the first round of the playoffs this weekend. Here’s what you need to know about the game.
After posting an emotional and thrilling last-minute victory over the New York Giants on Sunday, the 10-6 Dallas Cowboys found out who their first opponent in the playoffs will be. And it’s none other than the 10-6 Seattle Seahawks.
These two teams met in the regular season, with the Seahawks getting the best of the Cowboys back in Week Three, 24-13, in Seattle. But this is a very different Dallas squad. And this game will be at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
The Cowboys started the season losing five of its first eight games. During their bye week in late October, Dallas made two critical moves that changed the trajectory of their season. A trade for two-time Pro Bowl receiver Amari Cooper and the firing of offensive line coach Paul Alexander.
Following those changes, the Cowboys would finish their season winning six of their remaining eight contests, posting a five-game winning streak that included victories over other playoff-bound teams like the New Orleans Saints and the Philadelphia Eagles (twice).
Coming off a game in which the Cowboys posted 387 passing yards and four touchdowns through the air, the Seahawks are facing an entirely different animal than the one they bested back in September.
