The Dallas Cowboys have an opportunity to lock up the NFC East this weekend as they travel up north to play the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15.
The Dallas Cowboys are riding high off a five-game winning streak. But one more victory will catapult them into the postseason as they’ll be crowned kings of their division, the NFC East.
Standing in the 8-5 Cowboys way are the in 7-6 Indianapolis Colts, who themselves have won six of their last seven games. The one defeat the Colts suffered within that streak was an odd low scoring 6-0 loss to the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13.
Both the Cowboys and the Colts have been trending upwards as the end of the regular season nears. Dallas will attempt to pull out a road victory in Lucas Oil Stadium this Sunday, where the Colts haven’t lost since Week Four (37-34 loss the the Houston Texans).
Dallas’ top five ranking defense will attempt to stop quarterback Andrew Luck and Indy’s eighth ranked offense that averages 26.8 points per game. On the flip side, the Cowboys’ offense has averaged 24.4 points in their past five contests as they continue to trend up behind the trio of quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Ezekiel Elliott and new wide receiver Amari Cooper.
