Irving was carted off the field during practice on Thursday with a lower leg injury. The X-Rays were negative and it appears he has a high ankle sprain. Irving missed all of training camp and the preseason dealing with off-the-field issues.
Irving has played in just two games so far this season after serving a four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. This is yet another setback that seems for the talented defender that appears likely to sideline him against the Titans on Monday night.
