Following their very busy bye, the Dallas Cowboys will now take on the Tennessee Titans in a critical primetime matchup in Week Nine.

The 3-4 Dallas Cowboys have had a very active bye week. While most NFL teams use this time to rest in preparation for the remainder of the season, the Cowboys used their bye to make some critical changes. The biggest being the addition of two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper.

At the high cost of their first round selection in 2019, the Cowboys acquired Cooper’s services from the Oakland Raiders last week. And the 24-year old is set to make his debut against the 3-4 Tennessee Titans on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

Dallas’ passing game has struggled all season without a true number one option at wide receiver. The presence of Cooper eliminates that concern. And the Cowboys hope his addition is the key to unlocking their offensive prowess.

The other change Dallas made over their bye week is the firing of offensive line coach Paul Alexander. With Marc Colombo and Hudson Houck now in charge of the O-Line, the Cowboys are hoping to improve upon this unit’s performance that allowed third-year quarterback Dak Prescott to be sacked a whopping 23 times in their first seven games.
