Quarterback

September Grade: C-
October Grade: C

In four September games, quarterback Dak Prescott threw four touchdowns and two interceptions. In three October games, he put up the exact same numbers.

Prescott’s grade is better because I believe he has improved slightly. Both of the October losses are mostly due to the head coach. His best game also came in the month of October. Is he what I want him to be at this point in his career? Absolutely not, but in all fairness, there has been improvement.

I’m not shy in my honest evaluations of the third year quarterback. The thought of giving him mega millions scares me to death.

Could he flourish with different coaches? Will we ever find out? Who knows.

Here’s what we do know. In order for the Dallas Cowboys to be a playoff team, the quarterback position needs to be better than a “C.”
