After an impressive blowout win over Jacksonville last Sunday, the 3-3 Dallas Cowboys travel to Washington to take on the 3-2 Redskins in a huge divisional matchup.

Last Sunday the Dallas Cowboys looked like one of the best teams in the National Football League. Dallas blew out the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-7, an outcome that no one and I mean no one expected.

There was optimism by some that Dallas could scratch out a hard fought, low scoring win, but no one thought this team was capable of putting up 40 points on one of the NFL’s best defenses.

Everything went right for Dallas on Sunday, and there win put them at 3-3 on the year, just a half game behind the division leasing Washington Redskins.

Fittingly enough, the Cowboys travel to Washington this Sunday to take on the Redskins, in a matchup that will have a big impact on who comes out on top of the NFC East at seasons end.

Washington comes in off a quality win of there own over the Carolina Panthers at home, so both teams are playing good football.

NFC East games are always unpredictable, and it should be a classic Redskins, Cowboys hard-nosed, exciting showdown this week as it always is.

Before the game on Sunday here are three things you should know about this matchup.
