4. What has been the team’s biggest surprise so far this season to you?

DL: The offensive line play. I could say the lack of a running game, but that would be a cop-out. The offensive line was supposed to be better. The addition of Andrew Norwell at left guard was supposed to be the missing link to a top 10 unit. Injuries have played a huge part in the lack of continuity so far.

Bortles was sacked five times last week and fumbled the ball because of a pass rush by the Kansas City Chiefs that was better than expected. Jermey Parnell looked like a spinning top. The Cam Robinson injury at left tackle has been bigger than most thought, maybe bigger than the loss of Leonard Fournette.

This week, DeMarcus Lawrence lines up against this unit and I worry if one player will have the impact that the Chiefs entire defensive line did. The line play has to get better.

5. What’s your prediction for the upcoming game and score.

DL: This should be one of those ugly games. Both teams are inconsistent on offense. The Jaguars need this win. They need to find the momentum to come home next week to face an AFC South rival in Houston.
