#2. Will this be Eli Manning’s final season under center in New York?

CM: Absolutely not. As I mentioned earlier, Gettleman and head coach Pat Shurmur committed to Eli Manning as their quarterback, and that likely covers the next two seasons at a minimum. Eli has another season left on his deal, and no heir apparent exists.

The Giants drafted Kyle Lauletta (Richmond) in the fourth round this year, and he has shown promise. As far as him taking over the reigns for Manning at some point, that’s a stretch in my mind, even with seasoning.

The New York Giants transition to their next quarterback has become an interesting subplot to drafting Saquon Barkley for sure.

#3. Who is one relatively unknown player that will surprise Dallas fans on Sunday night?

CM: Since we have this irresistible force (Cowboys running game) versus the immovable object (Giants rush defense) going, I’m going to select rookie defensive lineman B.J. Hill (NC State).

The Giants already had a solid duo up front with Pro Bowler Damon Harrison and ever-improving Dalvin Tomlinson.

Adding Hill to the mix, strengthened an already strong unit. I would look for the Cowboys to double-team Harrison and that should open up opportunities for Hill to shine.
