3. Jason Witten not a big factor

Well, looks like the Cowboys will be okay without the Hall of Famer. As of now, it doesn’t look like the Cowboys have a replacement, but that can change in a jiffy. No, the Cowboys don’t have a security blanket, but someone has to set up.

Right?

4. Dez Bryant‘s production

Apparently, the Dallas Cowboys will be just fine without the star wide receiver. The Cowboys haven’t truly supplemented the team with a true number one yet. Things will be very interesting in the first contest when things get real without Dez Bryant on the turf.

5. Jason Garrett is king

This one is a head-scratcher. Does ESPN and Dan Graziano believe Garrett will sit on the throne along the great powers like Jimmy Johnson and Tom Landry? I hope so. I don’t know, though. But really, I hope so.

6. Jerry Jones the greatest…

Depending on how the Cowboys shape up the next three seasons, Jerry Jones will be known as either the greatest showman or greatest pretender. Let’s face it: The Cowboys are building something and others have noticed.

I predicted the Cowboys to take a trophy between 2014 and 2019. The window may have stretched a bit with Dak and Ezekiel Elliott on board. If the Cowboys don’t steal one, you know where the blame is going.
