The Dallas Cowboys training camp won’t be business, as usual, this year. After the roster moves and coaching changes here are outcomes we can hope to see.

When the Dallas Cowboys offense and defense take the field at training camp they will be missing two things. The first would be the leadership that Jason Witten brought to the team. His ability to keep the defense on their toes with his crafty route running skills. As well as his ability to be the safety outlet for Dak Prescott and this offense.

The second thing they will miss is the infectious energy brought by Dez Bryant on the offensive side of the ball. Bryant lead by example when it came to the receivers on this team and it will be missed. He also challenged every defensive back on the field to cover him. That challenge wasn’t done to show off but to make them better.

Both of these players will be missed, but we can’t remise about players we use to have and love on this team. The Cowboys have to move forward with new talent on the roster and coaches on this staff. Here are a few things we can hope to see at the end of training camp.

1. Coaches Kris Richards, Sanjay Lal, and Doug Nussmeier live up to the hype

Over the summer we have been hearing that the coaching staff brought in will help this team. Defensive passing game coordinator Kris Richards will turn this defensive backfield into the next legion of boom.

Wide receivers coach Sanjay Lal will have these receivers running precise routes to get them open. Doug Nussmeier the former offensive coordinator turned tight ends coach for the Cowboys getting these young and hungry group ready to play.

Well now is the time for them to prove they are up to these high expectations. All three of these coaches have very young groups to mold into professional football players. If they can do that then we the Cowboys could have a very successful season.
