Dallas Cowboys: Ranking defensive lines in the NFC East
By Tyrone Starr
New York Giants (bronze medal)
Dalvin Tomlinson, Damon Harrison, Kareem Martin, Kerry Wynn, Robert Thomas, Josh Mauro, BJ Hill, RJ McIntosh
The Giants are the other NFC East team to use a 3-4 scheme.
While their defensive line is not what it has been, they still have a beast.
Damon Harrison is a problem.
An All-Pro in 2016, “Snacks” lives in opposing backfields, usually eating up ball carriers.
He is the second best defensive tackle in the division and one of the best in the league.
After him, however, the drop-off is severe.
Martin and Tomlinson leave a lot to be desired as starters.
The depth is not exactly optimal either.
In fact, calling what the Giants have depth is a stretch in of itself.
The leg up they have over Washington relies solely on having Harrison in tow.
