Payne was a great pick this year and the Redskins are hoping he and Allen can grow to be something special together.
With Allen only playing five games, however, in 2017, he’s still a huge unknown.
Hood is the only veteran that anyone would consider beyond serviceable.
Beyond that, no player in this group has put up more than three sacks in any year, ever.
No one has been to a Pro-Bowl unless they bought their own ticket.
Just because Washington employs a 3-4 scheme defensively does not mean they have to have such an atrocious line.
Sadly, for them, this unit is one of the worst overall within the entire division.
It is still, easily, two years away from being formidable.
