Comparing the Dallas Cowboys WR corps amongst NFC East foes
By Tyrone Starr
Washington Redskins (no medal)
Josh Doctson, Paul Richardson, Jamison Crowder, Brian Quick
Here’s the good news (I suppose) for Washington and their receiving corps. They have the least amount of financial responsibility tied to this position within the division.

Here’s the bad news. There is a reason no Washington wide out is getting big money. The four top guys on their depth chart have career numbers of 435 receptions, 5,685 yards and 36 touchdowns collectively. No one on their own has ever had more than 80 catches, 800 yards or 8 touchdowns in a single season.
In my column regarding quarterbacks, I gave Alex Smith a ton of respect for being a consistent guy who is a master of the play action pass game. In order for any of these guys to thrive, the Washington run game will need to be on point so Smith can use that facet of his game.
Otherwise, I just do not see a scenario where these guys get open on a continual basis. None of the four are possession type receivers.
Doctson, Richardson and Quick are all speedy down field big play threats. Crowder is your typical slot guy. None of them are moving the chains with intermediate routes.
