Dallas Cowboys: 10 takeaways from All or Nothing on Amazon Prime
4. Ezekiel the Engine
Just as we thought, Ezekiel Elliott’s six-game suspension weighed on the Dallas Cowboys. The will he or won’t he be suspended scenario plucked through the hearts of the organization. The 2017 season became more about everything but the most important thing itself — football.

The suspension process played a major storyline in this narrative. Elliott and the Cowboys were heavy with the baggage. And, it was clear the stress weighed on the running back great. It goes to show you that despite all the muscle and technique one has, none of that matters if the instrument between the ears is in failure mode.

5. Dez Bryant knows what’s wrong
Man, you really get to ride shotgun with number 88 here. This ride alone justifies my $99 Amazon Prime account. Thank you, Amazon.
There’s no question Bryant loves the Dallas Cowboys and the opportunity to wear the Star. He loves football. He loves to play and he loves his teammates.
Bryant spells out exactly what’s wrong. It’s not his ability, speed, craft (maybe some of that) or attitude. The problem isn’t the playbook, coaching or teammates. Dak Prescott sure isn’t the problem either.
Bryant’s regression has everything to do with his own brain. His demise was of his doing. In the end, the Cowboys had no desire to rewire his circuitry. The cameras followed Bryant around, which for us meant we got a glimpse into his exit interview.
