The Dallas Cowboys continued to stockpile talent, post draft, signing 18 undrafted free agents. Here are three names to keep an eye on during training camp.

After Saturday’s final selection was made in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys still had plenty of work to do.  With literally hundreds of players still available, the Cowboys went to work evaluating undrafted talent.

This particular pool of players is especially fruitful for the Dallas Cowboys.

Some big names over the last decade who wore the Star on their helmet came through this path.  Tony Romo, Miles Austin, La’el Collins, Dan Bailey and Cole Beasley are just some of the few who became Cowboys post draft.

While this year’s crop does not include any big names like Collins or hidden gems like Romo, there are a few interesting names to keep an eye on.

Before we get to the three guys I think could have an impact at training camp, here is the official list of the 18 free agents:

Offense

Dalton Sturm – QB, UT-San Antonio, Jordan Chunn – RB, Troy, Malik Earl – WR, Missouri State, Marchie Murdock – WR, Iowa State, David Wells – TE, San Diego State, Jay Robertson – OL, Tennessee, Jacob Campos – OL, Iowa State, Bryce Johnson – OL, St. Cloud State

Defense

Austin Larkin – DE, Purdue, James Hearns – DE, Louisville, Dequinton Osbourne – DT, Oklahoma State, Joel Lanning – LB, Iowa State, Ed Shockely – LB, Villanova, Charvarius Ward – CB, Middle Tennessee State, Donovan Olumba – CB, Portland State, Kam Kelly – DB, San Diego State, Tyree Robinson – S, Oregon, Kyle Queiro – S, Northwestern

Out of these eighteen prospects, only three (Hearns, Kelly & Wells) were invited to the NFL Combine.  One of those three will be who we lead off with as far as who to watch for in camp.
