2. Terrell Owens: Foe or Dallas Cowboy?

Congratulations, number 81. The controversial wide receiver is going into the Hall of Fame. Regardless of how you feel about the player, Owens deserves to be in Canton. The iconic wide-out terrorized defenses, including the Cowboys.

The question I have is, will he be remembered as the guy in a Cowboys uniform or another jersey? What images of Owens flashes across your brain when you think of the exuberant receiver? Eagles? 49ers? Bills or Bengals?

Owens may have worn the stars on his helmet, but he’ll also be known as the dude who slammed a football on the Dallas star. How’s that for flashing memories across your brain waves?

3. Make room for another first round lineman?

If you followed me on Twitter or through my writing, you know that I can’t let down fixing the offensive line. Okay, so Ronald Leary flew to Denver to team up with the Broncos, and Doug Free said adios amigos.

The changes bothered me heading into the 2017 year. And, for the most part, my anxiety was all but correct. Sure, La’el Collins developed into his new role at right tackle. But, you know, even supreme things need some TLC, and the front line is no different.

That’s why I am perfectly okay with the Cowboys spending their first pick in 2018 on a fresh face on the front line. Should the Cowboys spread the wealth? Maybe.

But, let’s not forget — the best defensive weapon in 2014 and 2014 was the running back. Why not back up that blueprint by putting some strength on top of strength at the line?
