Offensive Line

Sometimes life comes at you fast.  Going into last year, the Dallas Cowboys had the best offensive line in football. Now?

Some pundits think they should draft yet another with their first round choice.

With three first round draft picks already in tow and a fourth who would have been, it seems weird to think this is a need.

Then you watch the Atlanta Falcons game which was a major turning point in the season and quickly reconsider.

I absolutely do not believe that Dallas should use a first rounder on the offensive line… unless a top prospect inexplicably falls to them.

Tyron Smith‘s recent injury is a bit of a concern although both he and the team seem to think it is manageable.  Travis Frederick and Zack Martin are stalwarts and La’el Collins should be fine at tackle for years to come.

With fifteen top 100 prospects in this year’s draft, however, finding a plug and play guard with tackle abilities might be a smart move.
