Linebacker

Sean Lee is without question the best defense player on this team.  His availability alone takes this team from barely average to borderline top ten.  He will also be 32 years old when the season starts and has never played a full sixteen games.

Anthony Hitchens is a budding talent that is, at worst, a solid starter in this league.  He’s also an unrestricted free agent that will likely get an offer Dallas can’t afford to match.

Then there’s everyone’s favorite person to root for in Jaylon Smith.  Smith greatly improved as the season progressed but there is still some question regarding his health.

To say this unit is the biggest question mark on the team would be a massive understatement.  Dallas, without a doubt, needs to get a young, fast, big time player at this position.

Roquan Smith from Georgia would be a huge pickup but likely won’t be available at 19.  Tremaine Edmunds from Virginia Tech might be, though.  If he’s available then, it would be hard for Dallas to pass that opportunity up.  Texas OLB Malik Jefferson and Alabama’s Rashaan Evans could be options in the second round as well.
