As a new year is ready to be ushered in, we take one last opportunity to reflect upon the five worst losses of the 2017 Dallas Cowboys season.

Usually my Sunday morning columns are for providing you, the reader, what to watch for in today’s game. Sadly, there is nothing to watch for in today’s game.

Thanks to a lackluster performance last week, the finale against the hated Philadelphia Eagles is pointless.

Not only have the Dallas Cowboys eliminated themselves from playoff contention, but the Eagles have also secured home field advantage. Dallas can neither better themselves nor play spoiler. Ho, hum.

In light of these facts, the situation has me wondering what should be considered as the worst losses of a season with far too many.

Even if Dallas loses by 40+ points today, it would not make the cut because it’s basically a preseason game at this point.

The point spread of a loss in just one factor as well. Many different things can make a loss exceptionally bad. I mean, all losses are bad.

No one wants to lose, but some are far more soul-crushing, mind-boggling or anger-initiating.

So, without any further ado, here is one man’s opinion on the five worst losses of the 2017 Dallas Cowboys season…
