The Dallas Cowboys will be without one of their top offensive weapons when they face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

On Saturday, the Dallas Cowboys downgraded wide receiver Cole Beasley from questionable to officially out for their upcoming matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles at home. Beasley missed all three of the Cowboys practice sessions this week due to an illness. The diminutive receiver has had a disappointing season, posting 36 receptions for 314 yards and four touchdowns in 2017.

After last Sunday’s 21-12 loss at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks, the Cowboys enter into this Week 17 matchup with nothing on the line. The Seahawks knocked Dallas out of playoff contention, ending their season a week premature. Despite the lack of postseason meaning, head coach Jason Garrett emphasized the importance of finishing the season strong earlier this week.

Then, the Cowboys turned around and placed a whopping 15 players on their final injury report. Joining Beasley as now officially out for the contest against the Eagles are defensive ends David Irving (concussion) and Benson Mayowa (back/illness). Dallas will also be without Pro Bowl left tackle Tyron Smith (knee) and Orlando Scandrick (back) as both were placed on the Injured Reserve list earlier this week.

Questionable for the matchup in Philly for the Cowboys are tackle La’el Collins (back), running back Rod Smith (back) and defensive tackle Richard Ash (shoulder). It could be a long day for quarterback Dak Prescott with as many as two of his starting offensive lineman sidelined for this game.

Other Dallas Cowboys players that made an appearance on the team’s final injury report were wide receiver Dez Bryant (knee), linebacker Anthony Hitchens (knee), defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence (back), linebacker Sean Lee (back), wide receiver Terrance Williams (non-injury related absence), wide receiver Brice Butler (foot) and defensive tackle Maliek Collins (foot).
