#2 – Dak Prescott, Quarterback

When you are the reigning NFL offensive rookie of the year, it’s hard to imagine your stock going any higher. Especially if you are the starting quarterback of America’s Team. But we believe Dak Prescott’s stock in Dallas improved after his performance against the Cardinals Monday night.

After fairly modest performances in his first two games of his sophomore season in Dallas, Prescott exploded for a three touchdown performance in Arizona. He completed 13 of his 18 passes for 183 yards and two scores through the air. Dak also ran in one touchdown.

Prescott looked sluggish behind a Cowboys offense that once again struggled to run the ball early. But it was Dak’s ability to move in the pocket and use his legs that ultimately opened up the offense. Completing difficult passes on the run, Prescott ignited the offense and outscored Arizona 21-10 in the second half.

After throwing for two uncharacteristic interceptions against the Denver Broncos in Week Two, Prescott bounced back on Monday night, staying clean and leading his team to a victory with both his arm and his legs.
