We give you the details you need to know in order to get ready for the Dallas Cowboys fifth and final preseason contest, against the Houston Texans.

UPDATE: The NFL has decided to cancel the game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans in order to allow the Texans to return home to Houston to be with their families and continue to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. For more information, click here.

The Dallas Cowboys will welcome the Houston Texans into AT&T Stadium on Thursday night, in the team’s final preseason contest of the exhibition season. Due to the damage inflicted onto the Houston area this week by Hurricane Harvey, this game was moved to Arlington on Tuesday.

With the 75-man cut down day removed by the NFL this season, all franchises will have to trim their current rosters from 90 players to only 53 by this Saturday. Therefore, this matchup will be important for those fringe players looking to plead one last case for making the team. Some even refer to this contest as the Roster Bubble Bowl for that very reason.

Don’t expect to see any of the Cowboys main starters to play in this matchup, although those who have been out due to injury like rookie wide receiver Ryan Switzer are likely to put in some time.

But his game is simply not all about football alone as proceeds from the Cowboys, Texans preseason matchup will go to the United Way of Greater Houston relief fund, in order to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
