We give you the details you need to know in order to get ready for the Dallas Cowboys fourth preseason contest, this time against the Oakland Raiders.
The Dallas Cowboys will welcome the Oakland Raiders to Texas and AT&T Stadium in their fourth preseason matchup of the year. In what is known as the “dress rehearsal game”, you should see the starters from both teams playing a good amount in the game.
For Cowboys fans, expect to see all of your favorite stars including running back Ezekiel Elliott, who is expected to make his preseason debut against the Raiders. Zeke should be joined by most of Dallas’ projected starters from players like quarterback Dak Prescott, to wide receiver Dez Bryant and tight end Jason Witten.

The bigger concerns going into this game are Dallas’ rookie class. While first round draft selection, defensive end Taco Charlton, has taken advantage of the preseason playing time, other first-year players have not. And that’s mainly due to injury.
Both third round selection, cornerback Jourdan Lewis and fourth round wide receiver Ryan Switzer have yet to play in any of the exhibitions. And although both are on the mend, it’s unclear whether they’ll make their debuts against the Raiders on Saturday.
The same goes for second round selection, cornerback Chidobe Awuzie. Although the former Colorado star was able to participate in the preseason early on, a nagging hamstring and ankle injury have already sidelined him for the matchup against the Raiders.
Their continued absence and lack of experience will be a major concern heading into the regular season, which is only 16 days away.
