Dallas Cowboys: Recapping a Wild Week in Big D
Thursday, July 20
Thursday, Cowboys’ rookie cornerback, Jourdan Lewis, was at a court hearing in Michigan.
Lewis was dealing with a domestic violence charge against him, made by a woman claiming he assaulted her.
The hearing did not result in a settlement, therefore Lewis will spend Monday and Tuesday of next week in a court, instead of training camp.
Lewis has repeatedly said he’s innocent, and the Cowboys feel comfortable with his situation as they did extensive research before the draft.
Lewis should be back at practice next Wednesday.
Hopefully, the situation comes to a quick and just resolution.
