Tuesday began with another bizarre story, this time involving Cowboys’ receiver Terrence Williams. TMZ reported the wide-out had gotten into an argument at a Dallas strip club. Instead of your regular physical altercation, Williams and his opponent got into a shirtless foot race in the parking lot.

Williams later clarified the story, stating that his opponent was actually a close friend, no argument occurred, and the TMZ report was false. And in case you were wondering, he won the race handily.

On Wednesday, the Cowboys finally got some good news. The Dallas Police Department decided to suspend their investigation of the bar incident involving Elliott. Detectives were unable to contact the victim and no witnesses came forward with new info.

While Elliott will avoid legal trouble, it still raises questions surrounding his behavior and status with the NFL. He is a major component of the Cowboys’ offense and is needed on the field. It’s in the best interest of everyone involved if Elliott can avoid these situations in the future.
