This isn’t your father’s Dallas Cowboys no more.

Things have changed. A lot. And while it’s okay for some to slice and dice the Cowboys for this and that, know this: the organization was rebuilt.

Sure, it’s easy to criticize him or her with our 140 characters. But, I believe, the tide in Dallas has veered from its former course.

This is a different Cowboys from the 90s, and certainly a different squad from those lost years. 5-11 anyone?

With Tony Romo in retirement, I can’t help but feel the next generation of stars have arrived. On top of that, the Cowboys hit another home run in the NFL Draft, which means we’ll see heavy doses of youth going forward.

It’s a wonderful time to be a football fan, whether you hate or love the Dallas Cowboys matters little. This team is expected to compete, and remain competitive for years to come.

And before I end this thought, I’d like to address the free agent adjustments shot around. The Cowboys have rebuilt the team with youth through the draft. I swear, if another person is let go or retires, articles by the batches will shoot out informing the public how their services are needed in Big D.

Stop. My eyeballs can’t take it anymore. The Dallas Cowboys are just fine. Let me say it again: The Cowboys are good. So stop with the, hey we should just sign that guy chit-chat. I totally get the need for eyeballs, believe me. But enough is enough. Thank you.
