The sun is hanging up there longer these days. It’s that time of year where components of last season are no longer, and the fresh essence of a new Dallas Cowboys season is upon us.

With minicamp now in the books, fans are getting jittery for some NFL action. Now that training camp is near for the Cowboys, things are going to start blowing up.

Of course, the month of June isn’t the most exciting date on the calendar for football. But this is the time where we witness the calm before the storm.

This is where the tide gains strength, where a small wave folds into bigger one to create a giant one. And before we march into the next camp, I wanted to journal some notes.

Here are several things to ponder before the beginning of the 2017 storm.

Let me know in the comment section what I missed, or what you are pondering.
