Are the Dallas Cowboys one elite receiver away from a Super Bowl?

For the Dallas Cowboys every year is a Super Bowl or bust season, there may be a couple receivers that can help them reach that goal.

The Dallas Cowboys have bolstered up the defense through free agency and the draft. The defensive line and secondary had major holes and Cowboy executives seem to believe they have successfully filled them.

So with many positions set and the 2017 NFL Draft in the history books, what other areas can the Cowboys improve?

Could a top receiver be what the Cowboys need to pair with wide out Dez Bryant? Dez has had trouble staying on the field the last two seasons, with foot injuries in 2015 and a knee injury in 2016, so even adding a top receiver as insurance would make sense.

Wide receiver Terrance Williams was re-signed this offseason but has already shown that he can not produce without Bryant on the field.

Cole Beasley and Lucky Whitehead are good compliments to Dez, but neither receivers  have the ability to take over a game.

The Cowboys seem to be satisfied while division rivals added star receivers like New York’s Brandon Marshall, Washington’s Terrelle Pryor, and Philadelphia’s Alshon Jeffery. All of which can certainly be considered more talented than Williams.

Free agency has been picked dry, but there may be a few trade options the Cowboys can explore that can not only improve their chances at a Super Bowl run, but excite fans as well.
