Running Backs: DeAngelo Williams/Chris Johnson/LeGarrette Blount/Matt Asiata

Now that Jamaal Charles has been signed by the Denver Broncos the Cowboys will be down an option in free agency at running back.

The team has brought in some undrafted talent at the position but a key veteran could be the best move.

Sure, Darren McFadden is still on the roster but a replacement should be found for Alfred Morris.

Former Pittsburgh Steeler DeAngelo Williams has shown a solid ability to make plays in his later years.

The same could be said about LeGarrette Blount as he has been a clutch player for the New England Patriots for years.

Now it appears the Patriots are primed to move on, however Blount does have some gas left in his tank.

He would be an incredible addition to the Cowboys running back room and could be used sparingly, to spell starter Ezekiel Elliott.

My favorite option has still remained Matt Asiata as he can play a variety of different roles and will probably be the cheapest option on the list.
