Following the results of the NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys have a much clearer picture of what their roster needs are heading into OTA’s and training camp.

Here are six potential players the Cowboys could target this offseason in free agency to help fill those voids following a very successful draft haul.

Tight End: Gary Barnidge

The Dallas Cowboys were thought to be looking for Cowboy legend, Jason Witten’s successor during the 2017 NFL Draft.

That did not happen as the team focused mainly on defense.

While developmental projected Rico Gathers still learns the game, the Cowboys could use a veteran tight end who can make some plays.

The Cowboys lost former second round pick Gavin Escobar during free agency and the team could add a player to give the team some depth at the position.

Gary Barnidge would be the perfect player to add to this offense to give the team another red zone target.

Barnidge could be a better target than Escobar ever was and should come at a pretty cheap price.

He could turn out to be another solid player who can take some pressure off of the aging Witten.

Barnidge recorded over 1600 yards and 11 touchdowns over the last two seasons, all of which were accumulated in a terrible Cleveland Browns offense.

He could see the most production he has ever had in his career if he is put in the Cowboys offense.
