Analysis: We’ve all heard of one-year wonders. Ohio State wide receiver Noah Brown is more of a one-game wonder. That because it seems the majority of his reputation is based on a four touchdown performance against Oklahoma.
But the fact is Brown was only targeted a total of 52 times during his entire college career, having missed all of the 2015 season with a broken leg. But this is a physical receiver similar to Dez Bryant, with a massive catch radius, a solid frame and tons of potential.
A true developmental project with several favorable traits, Brown could threaten the likes of Brice Butler, Lucky Whitehead and Andy Jones for a roster spot if he catches fire in training camp. At the very least, Noah should be a sure-fire practice squad candidate with a very high ceiling.
And the fact running back Ezekiel Elliott is his biggest supporter means something in Dallas.
