Going into the third day of the draft, the Cowboys picked North Carolina wide receiver Ryan Switzer. Then the Cowboys traded a future fifth rounder to the New York Jets to select Xavier Woods, a safety out of Louisiana Tech.
Then, the Cowboys traded back to #216 in sixth round to select Florida State cornerback Marquez White. And with their first pick in the seventh round, Dallas got Florida defensive tackle Joey Ivie. But the Cowboys weren’t done with two more selections left in the draft’s final round.

Noah Brown, Wide Receiver, Ohio State
Here’s what you need to know about the young prospect and the newest Cowboy:
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 222 lbs.
Pro Day 40 Speed: 4.59
2016 Numbers: 32 recs, 402 yards, 7 tds
Player Breakdown: Only started one year at Ohio State. Possessing intriguing combination of size and athleticism. Toughness. Fluid body movement. Great hands. A raw talent that must put in the time to develop. Route running must improve.
Cowboys Analysis: Will fight veterans Lucky Whitehead, Brice Butler and practice squad phenom Andy Jones for a spot on the receiving corps. Could be a candidate for the practice squad himself unless he shines during training camp. Big body receiver who should be a solid developmental prospect if he can squeeze himself into a very competitive roster spot.
