ROUND 3, PICK 92: S Marcus Maye – Florida

Maye provides exceptional run support while showing ability to make plays on the ball as well.

Totaling 17 pass breakups and five interceptions in the SEC means he can play at the highest of levels.

Three straight defensive picks make this team instantly better.  A start like this for the Cowboys two weeks from now will have fans wanting the season to start on May 1.

When you get to round four, you’re not expecting to find someone like the Cowboys did last year.  To land someone the caliber of a Dak Prescott this late is rare.

This is the point where you are looking for depth and someone to possibly push for playing time.

Intriguing names like Miami cornerback Corn Elder and Oklahoma linebacker Jordan Evans are on the board when pick #133 is ready.

I’m also not in the camp that believes the Cowboys need another quarterback, wide receiver or tight end.

In that light, I stay on the defensive side of the ball.
