ROUND 2, PICK 60: DE Jordan Willis – Kansas State

Going into round three, I would have to say that two huge voids are now of much lesser concern.

At this point, best player available can truly be the mantra but there are still needs that need attention.

More from The Landry Hat

Missing out on King hurt and I still have safety as a top need on my board.  There are two questions that immediately surface.

Question one – Is safety the biggest need at this point?

Question two – Does the best player available play that position?

The second question is easier to answer and that answer is no.

Two intriguing wide receivers are on the board when it’s time to select in the third round.

Zay Jones from East Carolina and JuJu Smith-Schuster from USC are there for the taking.

Michigan tight end Jake Butt is also available but there is one player I prefer over both.
