Dallas Cowboys: Sources Reveal 20 Draft Prospect Visits
Various sources reveal an alleged list of 20 different draft prospects that have met or will meet with the Dallas Cowboys prior to the NFL Draft.
Every NFL team, along with the Dallas Cowboys, is allowed to have 30 official visits from prospective players prior to the NFL Draft. That list of players is never released to the public.
But Albert Breer of the MMQB.com claims that sources have revealed to him the names of 18 different prospects that have or will visit the Cowboys prior to the draft later this month. And the list is defensive heavy.
Here’s the alleged list of Dallas’ prospects as revealed by Breer:
Kevin King, CB, Washington
Obi Melifonwu, DB, UConn
Fabian Moreau, CB, UCLA
Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson
Xavier Woods, S, Louisiana Tech
Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee
Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan
Treston DeCoud, CB, Oregon State
Adoree Jackson, CB, USC
Teez Tabor, CB, Florida
Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado
Tedric Thompson, S, Colorado
Tarell Basham, DE, Ohio
Takk McKinley, DE, UCLA
Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida
Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State
Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE, Villanova
JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, USC
It’s no surprise that all but one of the above prospects on the alleged visits list are on the defensive side of the ball. The Cowboys suffered heavy losses to their defensive secondary during free agency this offseason, losing three starters from last year’s squad.
But the possible visits from players like Barnett, Charlton and McKinley represent the Cowboys interest in also adding a pass rushing war daddy at defensive end.

You can also add two other names to this possible visits list. According to NFL.com, Wisconsin edge rusher T.J. Watt claims to have a visit scheduled with the Cowboys. And CBS Sports’ draft expert Dane Brugler reported that Utah free safety Marcus Williams can also be added to the list.
