Who did Dallas add?

Terrance Williams, Brice Butler, Wide Receivers

Both Williams and Butler weren’t really additions, but their both back on very team-friendly contracts. Williams, who is often criticized for his play, is a wonderful route runner and a tremendous blocker in the run game. Loyalty is the word he used when re-signing, and that’s exactly what he is. Loyal. Williams could surely have made more money elsewhere.

Stephen Paea, Defensive Tackle

Paea signed a one-year contract in Dallas. He is a strong, huge human being that should help as much as McClain did in the run game. Very solid addition on a one-year deal. Dallas will benefit greatly from having him in the middle of that rotation.

Nolan Carroll, Cornerback

Carroll signed a one-year contract with a three-year option. This has so far been the most scrutinized signing by the Cowboys. Carroll has been on the wrong-end of a few Dez Bryant highlight catches and that likely sticks in the minds of fans.

While the jury is still out on this move, Carroll is a reliable starter that signed on a very team-friendly deal. I personally believe he will surprise fans and add an element of speed desperately needed in the Cowboys secondary.

Damontre Moore, Defensive End

Moore signed a one-year contract to return to his home state of Texas. He is not the type of player that will get you double digit sacks, but he is a solid rotational piece that will help minimize the loss of other lineman. I anticipate Moore being a solid depth option.
