Dallas Cowboys 2017 NFL Draft: Seven Round Mock 2.0
Round 2 (60th overall)
Tarell Basham- Defensive End- Ohio
Basham is a small school player that is going to soar up draft boards as his hype builds while we move closer towards the draft. Basham is the ideal size to play weak side defensive end in Rod Marinelli’s Tampa 2 scheme at 6’4″ and 260 pounds.
He has great burst, bend, and hand use to go along with a tenacious motor. If he played in a power five conference, Basham is likely gone by the middle of the first round. He absolutely dominated the MAC competition and looked great at the Senior Bowl against better players.

Round 3 (92nd overall)
Tanoh Kpassagnon- Defensive End- Villanova
Tanoh Kpassagnon has one of the most interesting names in the draft, and is one of the most intriguing physical specimen in the draft as well. Tanoh is 6’7″ and 290 pounds of solid muscle. He has an explosive burst and first step and impressive strength and power in his long arms.
His hips are stiff and his bend is not worthy of deeming him a weak side pass rusher. He is still extremely raw but he could be an extremely solid contributor that develops into a beast at strong side defensive end.
