Everything Is Inside Out

Doesn’t it feel like everything is backwards? Okay, I get that it’s just one game — a preseason one that is. So there shouldn’t be too much read into this. But…

Let’s add this up here:

• Cowboys walked away with two interceptions. They had 11 takeaways total last year.

• Cowboys registered a sack.

• Cowboys returned a kick for a touchdown.

• 15 different players caught a pass.

• The defense held Jared Goff’s debut to a 17.1 quarterback rating performance.

Sure feels like 2016 is a new year. With the Cowboys set to take the field Friday, it’ll be interesting what the team will want to accomplish with Tony Romo looking to dress and play a bit. Can the Boys keep up the momentum?

Tune in.

Bottom line: Energized.
